As a Global Yacht Advisor – Charter with Engel & Völkers Yachting, you’ll connect clients with exceptional yachts and unforgettable charter experiences around the world. You’ll develop lasting client relationships, cultivate charter opportunities, and leverage the strength, visibility and international reach of the Engel & Völkers network to grow your business.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on private yacht charter opportunities, destinations and experiences
Develop and maintain relationships with charter clients, yacht owners, central agents and industry partners
Identify and cultivate new charter business through personal relationships, referrals and the Engel & Völkers global network
Match clients with appropriate yachts, destinations and itineraries based on their preferences and requirements
Coordinate charter inquiries, proposals and negotiations from initial consultation through booking
Collaborate with central agents, yacht managers, captains and other industry professionals to deliver an exceptional client experience
Market charter opportunities through Engel & Völkers Yachting channels and approved industry platforms
Maintain current knowledge of charter yachts, destinations, seasonal markets, pricing and industry trends
Develop repeat and referral business through attentive, long-term client service
Qualifications
Passion for yachting, travel and the luxury lifestyle
Strong communication, relationship-building and client-service skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently develop business
Strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple client needs and opportunities
Previous charter, yacht brokerage, luxury travel, hospitality or related experience is a plus
Familiarity with major charter destinations and the international yachting market is advantageous
Access to an established network of prospective clients, or the drive and ability to build one
Professional judgment, discretion and a client-first mindset
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
